On 22 January 2021, SASO released a gazette which published an amendment to the Personal Protective Equipment and Clothing Technical Regulation (TR). The amendment adds eight (8) standards to the Technical Regulation. The list of amended regulations are as follows:

The covered products bear the symbol and date (2019) but do not have a specific date code. Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen)
On December 22, 2020, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Commerce issued a recall for the Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) due to the possibility of damage to the device's battery through the use of the wrong screw during the installation process which may result in a fire.
