QIMA Life Sciences is a key player in contract research and innovation for the cosmetics, nutraceuticals, dermatology, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. Our mission is to support biotechs, pharmaceutical laboratories, and leading cosmetic or nutraceutical brands in validating their product claims and discovering new drug candidates through cutting-edge research and testing solutions.
Our division specializes in providing critical testing solutions and R&D services at every stage of cosmetic and pharmaceutical product development:
Bio-Prediction: Utilizing artificial intelligence (in silico testing), we predict the potential effects of molecules, helping to identify promising candidates early in the development process.
Pre-Clinical Efficacy Evaluation: Our scientific teams develop methods, models, and assays that closely mimic healthy or pathological biological systems. These are used to test the efficacy of molecules and compounds, analyze mechanisms of action, and confirm proof of concept. Additionally, we have access to patients for biopsies, allowing us to gather crucial data directly from human tissues, enhancing the relevance and accuracy of our pre-clinical studies. These approaches maximize the generation of clinically predictive results.
Clinical Evaluations: We conduct clinical evaluations using advanced techniques such as skin and hair imaging and bioanalysis of clinical samples, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. Furthermore, we have access to panels of volunteers for conducting comprehensive clinical studies.
Our division is powered by a network of five laboratories—four in France and one in Germany—offering complementary services to our clients. Altogether, we have over 2000 m² of laboratory space. We are supported by a dedicated team of 150 highly qualified professionals, including 34 PhDs, who are passionate about innovation and excellence. Our culture is centered on:
Innovation
Constantly pushing the boundaries to provide cutting-edge solutions
Client Passion
Delivering exceptional service and scientific rigor to meet and exceed client expectations
Collaboration
Engaging closely with our clients to support their research and development efforts
We recently expanded one of our French labs, enhancing our technical capabilities and improving working conditions. This expansion also reflects our commitment to minimizing our environmental impact and reducing our carbon footprint. We are proud to have achieved a Silver EcoVadis ESG rating at our laboratory in Gençay, underscoring our dedication to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
Our ultimate goal is patient health, and we collaborate closely with our clients daily to contribute to a healthier future.
