Supplier Audit Programs
Supplier audits are crucial in the food sector for ensuring food safety and quality compliance. The BRCGS START program offers a risk-based framework that supports smaller sites in the food supply chain, enabling them to progress toward full BRCGS certification. Similarly, IFS Progress Food provides a tailored approach for food manufacturers, helping them meet quality and safety standards at various development stages. The SQF Fundamentals program simplifies the certification process for small and medium-sized businesses, offering a clear path to achieving SQF certification and improving food safety management systems. Furthermore, Costco audits focus on verifying supplier adherence to Costco's stringent standards, guaranteeing consistency and safety in products sold under the Costco brand. Together, these audits form a comprehensive system for maintaining high standards and ensuring a reliable and safe food supply chain.

GFSI Recognized Food Certification Schemes
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is a collaboration between the world’s leading food safety experts from retailer, manufacturer and food service companies with a mission to provide continuous improvement in food safety management systems. GFSI itself is not a certification program, but programs that meet the GFSI benchmarking requirements are “recognized” by GFSI. GFSI recognition means that a food certification program is considered competent by leading retailers and manufacturers internationally and has been exposed to a demanding assessment.
QIMA WQS offers certification under the following GFSI-recognized schemes:
BRCGS (Food, Storage & Distribution, Packaging & Packaging Material)
GLOBALG.A.P. (Fruits & Vegetables, GRASP, Tesco Nurture, Poultry and CFM)
Animal Welfare and Sustainability Certifications
In addition to the GFSI-recognized schemes detailed above, QIMA WQS, QIMA IBD, and Certis offer:
Antibiotic Free Certification
Coffee and cocoa certification programs, including:
